3D Textures for Gaming

Texturing has a very important role in everything a Graphics Design Artist doe's in his/her work. If you look around you everything in real life has texture, so it is very important that texture is incorporated into Graphics Design. Texture is what makes your design look real. If you remember the first games that game out were flat with simple colors used so the games did not look true to life. There are other things that have to be done besides texturing to make your game look real you also need perspective, but we will cover those things in other blogs. If you notice in this picture it has both texture and perspective that is what makes the floors, walls, window's and even the woman cloths look real. There are several programs you can use to create texture Photoshop, DAZ Studio, Maya and others.
